Governing body

The Governing Body (GB) is the pivotal body of Alliance française de Delhi which undertakes the civil and penal responsibilities of the association. It determines the overall functioning and lays down the parameters for its development in accordance with the aims of the association.

The General Assembly is convened at least once every year. It is made up of all the registered members of the association as on the day of the convocation. Through a secret vote, it elects the GB Members for a period of two years and the GB in turn, through a secret ballot nominates a Board, comprising a President, two Vice-Presidents, a Secretary, a Joint Secretary and a Treasurer. The GB meets at least four times a year.
