Summer Duo
A western classical musical concert

Classical Guitarist Shyamanth Behal  in duo with French Flutist Yohann Egret.

After a successful tour of a number of cities in India, organized by the Alliance Française, the Summer Duo is playing again together in the month of August.
A duo performance of Western Classical Music by an Indian classical guitarist Shyamant Behal and a French flutist Yohann Egret. Other than an exceptional classical musical performance, the concert will give an exquisite example of mixing cultures and talent in a musical way.

Shyamant Behal studied under Geneviève Chanut at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris . Since his return to Delhi in 2007, he has given a number of concerts in New Delhi, both as a soloist and with ensembles. He has taught the classical guitar at the Delhi School of Music and at Performer’s Collective and has also given some private lessons. He also formed a guitar quartet with some of his students who are now musicians by their own right.

Yohann studied flute at the National Conservatory of Toulouse where he got his State Diploma in 2003. He also won many prizes as the Gold Medal in flute, music theory, and chamber music at National Conservatory of Toulouse in 1998 and the 1st prize in flute at the national Conservatory of Versailles.
Since 2003, he has become a flute professor in France and is playing with different groups and as a soloist in different genres from Classical to World Music.
The 30 years old musician has become known for his qualities as a professional flute musician as well as a creator of music and ensembles.
