His biggest enemy, Emmanuelle Bruno, executive secretary, finds himself grateful (inescapable) to assist him (it). A shimmering glass hotel at the top of a remote Provençal mountain provides the setting for a tragicomic tapestry about an obsessive love pentangle, whose principals range from an artist to a hotel manager to a dam worker. Scripted by Jacques Prévert and Pierre Laroche, the film was banned from theaters for the duration of the occupation for its dark portrayal of the hedonistic excesses of the ruling class. Today, it is often singled out as Jean Grémillon's greatest achievement.

OLIVIER MOULIN – A Piano recital tribute to Debussy and Hazrat I. Khan

The French pianist Olivier Moulin studied under Eric Heidsieck and Gery Moutier at the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique of Lyon, where he was unanimously awarded first prize with honors. After advanced studies in the same institution, he continued his training in Austria at the Salzburg Mozarteum in the classes of Karl – Heinz Kammerling and Clemens Hagen, where he obtained a Master of Arts with highest honors.

Exhibition: BACK FROM FRANCE: Retelling the India-France-India story

The ‘Back From France’ program intends to provide a platform to deserving young Indian artists (of less than 40 years of age) who have returned from France after a stay of more than six months. Most of them are scholars from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Beaux-arts, Paris. Through two solo exhibitions of two different artists every year (in February and November, from 2018-2021), the ‘Back from France’ program shall try to locate the art practice of these young artists in the larger sphere of contemporary Indian art practice and also challenge the existing notions of encounter, reception, influence and impact of the French milieu on Indian art today.

Concert: Cosmos Project – Beethoven and India

There is a genuine historical link between Beethoven and Indian culture: in search of the depth of this culture and fascinated by the translation of mystical Indian texts (the Upanishad), which was released in 1816 in Germany, Beethoven immersed himself in these texts and even wrote a Brahmanic Indian poem in his notebooks to put it to music! This relationship has never been explored in concert or recording. That is why we want to pay tribute to Beethoven with this "Cosmos" project.
