Festival du film asiatique

Cette annee, le “Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema” (NETPAC) celebre son vingtieme anniversaire. Cette période est marquée par le sens de l’achèvement et fierté pour le cinéma asiatique qui  s’est beaucoup développe et a gagne plus d’awards que jamais.

NETPAC  s’engage a promouvoir activement le cinéma asiatique: un NETPAC Award pour le meilleur film asiatique a été mis en place; Cinemaya, le journal officiel de NETPAC, promeut le cinéma asiatique partout dans le monde; d’autres festivals du film asiatique se sont développés partout dans le monde - Fukuoka au Japon, 3rd Eye Asian Film Festival a Mumbai, Vesoul en France, Barcelona en Espagne, NETPAC  Festival – Cinefan a New Delhi, et le festival Jogja-NETPAC a Jogjakarta. De plus, un prix du Developpement APSA-NETPAC a été institue a l’Asia-Pacific Screen Awards a Brisbane.

Cette année, pour fêter ses vingt ans, NETPAC India se joint a Imaging Asia  – une conférence internationale, un festival comprenant 30 films, des performances and story tellers' art coupled with an exhibition brought to life by the Asian Heritage Foundation. L’Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) will also bring in international performers de Chine, de Thailande,  d’Indonesie et d’autres.
To be held across venues including the Indira Gandhi Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), Instituto Cervantes, Alliance Française, India International Centre and India Habitat Centre – cet evenement multidisciplinaire se tiendra entre le 19 et le 22 aout.
