Adept at both classical and modern Jazz, Leon Francioli (double base and piano) and Daniel Bourquin (tenor and saxophone) are versatile performers, composers and innovators of music and new musical forms. Both have performed with renowned European artists, Manglesdorf, Portal, Pierre Favre, Pascale Auuberson, Jean-François Bovard, Michel Buhler and many others. After a long association with Pierre Favre (1970-1984), they formed the famous quartet BBFC with J.-F. Bovard and Olivier Clerc. They have performed in innumerable International Jazz festivals, namely, Montreux, Le Mans, Marseille, Seyne-sur-Mer, Grenoble, Berlin, Stuttgart, Naples and in Canada, Madagascar, Nicaragua among others
