The exhibition is all about products which would be something that even the Royalty dreamt about!
It is a collection of fine art pieces made by master craftsmen in rare materials using very exact and high quality techniques.
There are on display, Pashmina carpets made with fine handspun pashmina wool knotted on pure silk warp and weft with aprrox 600knots per sq inch, fine inlay work by John Harwood using semi precious stones and rare marble stones, high quality miniature paintings with real gold leaf and stone pigments using a squirrel hair brush executed by master artists, old pashmina shawls with intricate patterns, pure silver inlay Islamic table in Shisham wood, old papier mache in pure gold leaf, etc.
The art pieces will be a treat for the visitor’s eyes and will demonstrate that many such fine pieces are still being made and are there in private collections in India.
