PRIVATE EVENT: Launch of LISAA Design School

Launch of the French LISAA Design School in India 

Friday, 15 April 2011, 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
at Gallerie Romain Rolland, Alliance française de Delhi 

Stephen Bertalli, Director of International Education for Lisaa, L’Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués, will launch the School at the Alliance Française de Delhi on 15th April 2011 with a presentation and showing of student work.

Lisaa School of Design in France is located at four locations Paris, Rennes, Nantes and Strasbourg. It partners with over 200 brands such as Euro Disney, Kenzo, Hermès Paris, Saatchi & Saatchi, Alcatel, Alstom on projects and exposes its students to real design issues. It is a Premier French Design school. The design aesthetic and accomplishments of the French in design are well known. They are leaders in Design, architecture and fashion with a highly evolved and sophisticated design sensibility. It has nurtured this sensibility in its students. The new generation of designers bear testament to this learning.

Lisaa’s unique approach to the Applied Arts promotes creativity and facilitates experimentation. By re interpreting design principles, Lisaa students are able to develop a fresh perspective to design. Lisaa, New Delhi is a branch of Lisaa, France. Course content, fee, Teacher training is regulated by Lisaa, France. In India Lisaa will be held by a Master Franchise company. Royalties and a part of the student fee will be paid to Lisaa France per student as per the terms of agreement.

It is based in Paris, will impart world class design education to over 2500 students a year across 5 locations in India. Exclusively franchised to the  company Ecole de Design Edu (India) Pvt. Ltd, Lisaa, India will have international faculty and a Board with associates such as Louis Vitton, Hermès and Alstom to name a few European design leaders in their field.
