Cine club

In partnership with the French Embassy in India, the AFD offers screenings of French films on Thursdays at 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm in the ML Bhartia auditorium.

Throughout the year, the Cine Club is an opportunity to discover French culture and cultures from the French-speaking countries, through a wide selection of classical and contemporary films. The films festivals are built up according various themes or as a tribute to a French director.

The screenings are followed by a discussion led by a French staff member of AFD and giving the opportunity to share your views about the films.

All films are in French with English subtitles.

Membership card is required to access to the Cine Club, except for the students of AFD and the members of AFD. The card is available for Rs 100 and is valid for one year. It is to be collected at the cultural section, 3rd floor, from Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm. Please come with your identity card and one passeport size photo.
