In 1996 she won the special prize “Ada Labèque” at the National Médoc-Aquitaine piano competition. In 1997 she participated in the masterclass of Théodore Paraskivesko at the Paris Conservatory.

A guest performer at numerous festivals, Wen-Ying LAN has performed as a soloist with orchestras such as the Philharmonic Orchestra of Jena in Germany, and the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra. She also performs regularly in chamber music recitals where she captivates the audience alongside soloists from Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, and Israel.
