Born in Monaco of Sri Lankan parents, Shani Diluka has been described as an “outstanding performer” (Figaro), endowed with “winged virtuosity” (Classica), “one of the greats of her generation” (Piano Magazine), and “masters the art of music” (Suddeutsche zeitung). She is a graduate of the CNSMD in Paris (with a unanimous 1st Prize and 3rd cycle as a soloist) and of the prestigious International Piano Academy of Lake Como, presided over by Martha Argerich.Guest soloist with numerous orchestras – the Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, the Sinfonia Varsovia, the Royal Swedish Orchestra, the Kyushu Symphony Orchestra in Japan, etc. – she collaborates with great conductors such as Gábor Takács-Nagy, Ben Glassberg, Lawrence Foster… A guest of the great concert halls, Shani Diluka has performed in recital at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, at the La Fenice Theatre in Venice, at the Sala de Sao Paulo, at the Auditorium de Radio-France, in Tokyo where she opened the Folle Journée, at the closing ceremony of the Verbier Festival, at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, at the Vienna Konzerthaus, at the Salzburg Mozarteum, at the Ravinia Festival in Chicago, at the Roque
d’Anthéron, at the Philharmonie de Paris, etc.
