The Book Office of the Embassy of France in India, Institut français en Inde and Alliance Française de Delhi is pleased to announce the second edition of
a literary evening of contemporary writing in French.
Jointly organized by the Institut français en Inde, the Embassy of France in India, Pro Helvetia – Swiss Arts Council, the Embassy of Switzerland, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Belgium and the High Commission of Canada, in association with the Alliance Française de Delhi, the event will include conversations and readings from books by French author Hédi Kaddour, by Belgian author François Emmanuel, by Swiss author Pascale Kramer, and by Canadian author Kim Thuy. Martin Mégevand, Professor at the department of French Literature, Université Paris 8 (France), will be the Master of ceremony.
Wednesday, 12th March 2014, 6pm
6.30 pm : Opening of the 4 one-to-one sessions with the 4 francophone writers.
Venue: M. L. Bhartia Auditorium, Alliance française de Delhi, 72, Lodi Estate, New Delhi.
The “Soirée Littéraire” will also be hosted by the Alliance Française dePondichéry on Monday, 10th March, and by the Alliance Française de Chandigarh on Friday, 14th March.
