trabajo de campo - 5 March

The travelling exhibition by Jan Hendrix, Trabajo de Campo reunites a large body of landscape prints made in the 1980’s and 1990’s. In the graphic oeuvre of Jan Hendrix, we can find a confluence of different layers: those who bring out the artist’s own itinerary and those that bring out essential forms discovered in the materiality of the external world. The encounters with the essential forms made by Hendrix are clues to the way he apprehends the inner strength in things but they also speak about the will and knowledge of the artist over the visible world.
