Gajju Babu is a mayor in a small city where all the top officials of the city- the Civil Surgeon, Inspector of School and Judicial Magistrate are all corrupt. One day, the Mayor receives a letter informing him about a secret visit of the Inspection Officer. This puts him in a spin and he calls for an urgent meeting of his officers to deal with this situation. Informed by his loyal servants about the arrival of the Inspector at a five star hotel in the city the play revolves around the various efforts made by the Mayor and his corrupt officials to appease the officer. The Inspection Officer takes advantage of his situation leaving the Mayor and his team high and dry – as he was not the real officer but just a fraud!
