Bernard Frédéric (Poelvoorde) leads a very ordinary life: an average bank executive, he’s married and has a son. But he used to have one passion: Claude François, the French star singer from the 1960s-70s, and one fancy: to live himself his idol’s life. As the “Imitators Gala Night”, a programme letting real aficionados like him play their icon’s role on TV, is coming up, he must choose between his comfortable life and the risk to quit everything to fulfil his dream.

While visiting her mother, she comes across a photograph that will incite her to travel to Italy in order to track her down. In Italy Jeanne will solve the mystery behind her changes, after having undergone a full transformation.
