The Alliance Française de Delhi Library is organizing Second Art appreciation workshop on Artist Henri Matisse and his painting style, for pan-Indian school students on, 20 October 2021 (3:00 pm to 4:00 pm IST).
The workshop is based on the legendary French painter, Henri Matisse and is being organized under ‘Library Fest 2021’ in partnership with the Alliance Française Libraries from all over India.
The medium of instruction is English. It will be followed by a workshop on collage painting.
Eligibility – Students between the ages of 8 to 15 years are invited to join.
Prior to joining the workshop, students need to have the following items handy:
(i) A4 thick white sheets as base or background minimum 2
(ii) Multi-color Cartridge paper sheets (Mainly pink, magenta, yellow, and black)
(iii) Scissors
(iv) Paint brushes (fine and broad)
(v) Glue stick
(vi) Eraser
(vii) Water cups
(viii) Palettes
(ix) Water colors\acrylic colors\poster colors (cyan, magenta, yellow, white and black)
(x) HB pencils
(xi) Hand wipes
(xii) Crayons
Note: Students may wear an apron to avoid any color tripping and use plastic sheets or newspaper to cover their tables.
